# AtomHMI UI project
## Purpose
Use AtomHMI's graphical web interface to create and modify pages. Keep durable project knowledge in this repository so work can continue from another computer.
## Knowledge location
This repository is the shared home for project instructions, confirmed facts, and current handoff notes. It is not currently an application source checkout.
## Files
- AGENTS.md: instructions for assistants working on the project.
- PROJECT.md: durable project facts and decisions.
- HANDOFF.md: current progress and next actions.
## Established preferences
- Prefer graphical editing within AtomHMI for page work.
- Preserve project knowledge remotely rather than depending on one computer.
- Use the connected Atom Git plugin to read and update this repository.
## Established sites and guides
- Mandel development: https://dev.atomhmi.com/site_mandel/ — MANDEL-BUILD.md and MANDEL-SETTINGS.md.
- Shop development: https://dev.atomhmi.com/site_atom/ — SHOP-BUILD.md. Do not edit atGVL_alarmManager.
- ATOMHMI-PLAYBOOK.md: verified native Copy/Paste workflow, tests, and editing pitfalls.
- SITE-STUDY.md and PAGE-INVENTORY.md: production reference-site study and inventory. Production sites were reference material, not blanket write targets.
- README.md: project entry point and cloud knowledge base link.
## Cloud references

Keep site guides current during project work and reconcile cloud/repository edits before overwriting either. There is no automatic synchronization.
## Standard workflow and expanded site context — October 21, 2026
All Atom HMI UI work uses dev.atomhmi.com or atomhmi.com; the browser's observed production host is www.atomhmi.com. Use Atom GIT to open Auto/atom-hmi-ui-chatgpt (default branch master). Read AGENTS.md, PROJECT.md, HANDOFF.md and the relevant site guide before work. Update guides with verified discoveries/changes and commit them remotely after each substantive task. Browser sign-in remains device-specific.
New production guides:
- KAV-GUIDE.md — all four KAV sites; Mill Main catalog 43, Mill East 4, Water Main 29, Water East 38.
- LONE-PINE-GUIDE.md — visible selector Lone Pine (the “Lonepint” request), site_lone_pine, 16 pages; sawdust_dryer and recycling bindings.
- LAZY-B-GUIDE.md — site_lazy_b, 21 pages; water and grain bindings.
- SWEET-GRASS-GUIDE.md — site_sweetgrass, 51 pages; previously missing motor trees now inspected.
These guides replace repeated initial reconnaissance. Verify the current target page and affected bindings before edits, without repeating the full baseline survey. Counts are dated observations, not fixed application guarantees. The October 21 baseline survey changed documentation only. A subsequent user-authorized correction changed production KAV Main Water Well 10 New's chlorine updateRegister to water:g_well10ChemPPM; saved and verified after reload. No chlorine setpoint was submitted. See KAV-GUIDE.md.

October 21 follow-up: corrected the KAV East Water Wells series for water:g_well30_flow_out_eu from Well 29 to Well 30. Saved and verified after fresh configuration reload and on the live chart legend; bindings and other chart settings preserved. See KAV-GUIDE.md.
October 21 Lazy B follow-up: attempted to verify Well 3 timer replacements. Water System register searches found no tss, totalTmr, runtime or wellNW1 entries. Existing daily counters and disabled well3_i_UTS do not establish the requested timer semantics. No site changes made; awaiting correct PLC tags, units and lifetime runtime write semantics. See LAZY-B-GUIDE.md.
## Sweet Grass alarm migration direction — October 21, 2026
User identifies the old Main Plant PLC as Horner and wants its alarms migrated to the new Codesys plant PLC. HMI slave IDs are main_plc (Main PLC) and codesys_plc (Codesys PLC); groater_plc and sg_dryer are separate sources. SWEET-GRASS-GUIDE.md now maps 39 bin/equipment high/full alarms and migration gaps. Source reassignment and PLC logic equivalence remain unperformed/unverified. User also confirms the recent Atom HMI upgrade moved alarm logs to a new database, making previous history unavailable.
October 21 resolution: user chose to remove the unverified Time Since Start and Hours fields from Lazy B Wells 2 and 3. Removed four elements total, saved/reloaded both pages and verified the remaining element IDs. Well 1 had no timer fields. No counter reset or operational write. This supersedes the pending timer-mapping request; see LAZY-B-GUIDE.md.
## Production Atom devices and Chep HighPlains — October 21, 2026
- ATOM-DEVICES-GUIDE.md: production site_atom/page_devices now covers 33 devices across 31 accessible sites after user-deleted Demo and Westland were removed; Atom itself is the host with Global scope only. Keep distinct from development Shop. Includes complete dated site/device map and read-only freshness semantics.
- terminal-register-templates.json: verified standard Terminal definitions, with creation intervals capped at 600 s. Added 239 missing entries and eight explicitly approved Terminal sources; all new definitions freshly read back. Existing complete sets preserved. Configured entries do not guarantee readings from every agent/platform.
- CHEP-HP-GUIDE.md: Main's 73-alarm string correction and diagnostic additions. Three user-corrected definitions preserved, 70 others saved; dynamic message expressions retained.
- Cloud Atom guide: https://chatgpt.com/space/page_4f4290a63c008191bffe66804b6e1777

## Lazy B RPM trends — October 21, 2026
Production Receiving and Reclaim now chart seven distinct existing motor RPM sensors with separate RPM axes and distinct per-motor colors. Saved and verified after fresh configuration reload and runtime navigation. See LAZY-B-GUIDE.md for exact bindings, colors and validation limits. M02TEMP shares M02's configured RPM binding; no separate sensor was invented.
## Retired sites — October 21, 2026
Current status — October 21, 2026: the user deleted and retired Demo (site_demo) and Westland (site_westland). Removed their five dashboard rows: Demo/demo, Demo/main, Demo/unknown, Westland/test_trailer and Westland/trailer_1. The saved dashboard now has 33 non-Global devices across the 31 accessible sites (30 with devices; Atom has Global scope only). The current Select Site catalog independently showed 31 sites and neither retired site. Do not recreate either site, its devices, diagnostic registers or Terminal sources unless the user explicitly requests reinstatement.
## Gladacres delayed readings investigation — October 21, 2026
October 21 Gladacres check: all 30 diagnostic/maintenance entries are enabled and Terminal is configured as {}. The native Device Status page and Atom dashboard both populated readings without any saved configuration change (CPU 63.7 °C, HMI 1012 observed). Most diagnostics poll every 600 seconds; uptime is configured for 10 seconds but was about 2–5 minutes old during checks. Initial blank register-table values were not proof of a complete outage. Delayed uptime reporting remains unexplained; no agent/connection cause or repair was established. No commands, resets, updates, reboots, service restarts or log uploads. See GLADACRES-GUIDE.md.

## Arco Poultry — October 22, 2026
ARCO-POULTRY-GUIDE.md documents production site_arco_poultry/page_barn_4. All 22 used registers on barn_controller / slave barn_3_4 (UI label Barn 3) are enabled with one-second ON_CHANGE polling after enabling eight disabled entries. Fresh readback and runtime verification completed; inlet/feed/age readings populated. Temp 1 remains -999 °C and pressure chart label units differ from its axis/numeric display; causes unresolved. Scope is Barn 4 only. Cloud guide: https://chatgpt.com/space/page_3952221801fc8191a490c36a1be0c0c5.
## Highway 21 — October 26, 2026
Production site_highway_21 has a new HIGHWAY-21-GUIDE.md and cloud guide https://chatgpt.com/space/page_068c2a277110819180a2c5853c714e99. User program-to-well mapping recorded. After the user imported the updated tags, created and reopened all30 well level/flow card-fault alarms (56Water total) and enabled their30 polling sources. Programs12–14 are labelled spares; program10 Well18 and program11 Well19. See guide for verified counts and existing Well18/19 description discrepancy.
